Published in 2010 by Springer and edited by Louis D. Brown (Pennsylvania State University) and Scott Wituk (Wichita State University), Mental Health Self-Help addresses consumer and family initiatives.  Its sections include "Frameworks for Research and Practice;" "Mental Health Self-Help Groups;" Consumer-Delivered Services;" "Mental Health Self-Help Policy;" "Technical Assistance;" and "Self-Help/Professional Collaboration."  Of particular interest to us in Connecticut is a chapter on "Certified Peer Specialists in the United States Behavioral Health System:  An Emerging Workforce," by Mark S. Salzer of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA; and "A Statewide Collaboration to Build the Leadership and Organizational Capacity of Consumer-Run Organizations (CROs) by Oliwier Dziadkowiec, Crystal Reinhart, Todd Shagott, Ashlee Keele-Lien, Adrienne Banta, Scott Wituk, and Greg Meissen of Witchita State University in Kansas, and Chi Connie Vu of James Bell Associates in Washington, DC.
